Ghostboy 02:57
mama says a ghostboy's hiding in the sheets says he whispers all his secrets in her ear daddy is a ragdoll tearing at the seams saying 'what am i doing here' and i'll be gone is something wrong? daddy tucks me in and then he stares at the wall while mama's out there lying on the floor i hear it in my pillow and i feel it in the sheets but daddy says 'dont open the door' and i'll be gone is something wrong? daddy i'm not playing daddy i can't see now you aren't speaking don't leave me alone i don't wanna go to sleep used to be a hellhouse halfway down the street where the rain would come and sweep her off her feet daddy was a ragdoll tearing at the seams but he never cried 'woe is me' and now it's gone there's nothing wrong

In the morning, no time to lose Locked and steady, he knows what to do Through the window and out the door Perfect footsteps are coming to shatter the dawn Hurry you Have they told you the streets are paved with gold? What they tell you could never mean more And all the buses and all the trains They will take you through the maze Let me through That way, they've got machine guns We'll stay right here, where it's safe I've got sunspots in my brain Burning sunspots in my brain Burning sunspots Good morning

Shine 02:49
while you were keeping marks on everyone who broke down, you held the calling card for fools, did you feel cool? you needed reason to be better than everybody else but it was you who made the rules when did it start? when will it end? you're never wrong, just as long as you're following the latest trend i saw you walking like the sheriff of a ghost town where all your friends were made of wood, did they do you good? how about you take a bow for breaking every whimpering vow by acting tougher than you were? it's not enough to wave their flag so play your part, count your stars and dissolve in what the rulebook says you should for when the sun don't shine your way and there's no one for you to blame all the people that you bought and owned will no longer talk you up

although i can't explain the ways i'm empty someday these days will be through and though i know the ways i'm gonna miss them i could stay another day with you, whoever you are and now your head is sitting in nothing you can say what you will but you know you've fallen through and there's something that you're missing you can do what you want to do, but you're reaching too far got to go, do you know where to go? got to go, do you know where to go do you know? no although i can't explain the ways i'm empty someday these days will be through and though i know the ways i'm gonna miss them i could stay another day with you, whoever you are

Lie 02:22
Took apart all you knew for the who-knows-where-you’ll-go All you could see was your time being torn Left to follow your reason, left to endure the storm Everything that you knew was a lie In your heart was an old thorn that tore deep into your core How can I live and escape what I know? All your marks have a reason; you bend forth from the show Made for the day that your pain would be gone All will fall when you can’t see another way But you can say that you were just a lie All will fall when you can’t see another way But you can say that you were just a lie

oh won't you steady me, steady me down i look around and all i see is green and the sun coming to stare me down all i can hear is the roar of machinery feel the tremor of an angry frown won't you come to me and steady me down oh won't you turn an ear, turn it all around you feel the ground underneath your feet as the earth is one and stars are sounds the grace at your heels has taken the liberty to prepare me for a world unbound won't you come to me and steady me down
7.
all the things i don't remember, i remember not remembering life's a fight that you surrendered, when you broke down on a bender with an insecure contender, prepossessing moneylender start a race but can you end her? making sure not to remember it and you know that i remember making sure not to remember all the things i don't remember now you're hanging from a cable, with your broken ultimatums lovers left under the table, with the lies that you enable people hope that you can save them, but you only hope to faze them and you dulled down all your razors, and just put it all off for later and you know that i remember making sure not to remember all the things i don't remember
